It seems that even during the hot summer days Google does not stop the implementation of new features and services. During the previous month, the people from Google added a new feature to the Google Search Analytics aspect in the Google Search Console.
As firstly reported by Jonathan Jones on Twitter, the new option allows us to compare two different queries. In order to access the new feature you need to go to the Google Search Console, click on Search Analytics and after clicking on the Queries option you need to select compare queries. After entering the phrases you want to compare in the newly shown box, clicking compare will show you the output for the two queries.
We got more information from Jennifer Slegg, as she posted her impressions on Twitter. As she noticed first – the new option can be used across Queries, Countries, Pages, Devices and Search Types within the Search Analytics report.
My first thoughts were that this feature is a really good idea and will help people in understanding the real statistics behind their user interface. As I saw the first comments, most of the people involved in the SEO sector are glad that this was included.
